Event Dishwasher   Event Dishwasher   Principal responsibility is to provide a clean and safe kitchen area. Wash and clean tableware, pots, pans and cooking equipment.  Keep the dish room and equipment clean and organized.   Duties: * Remain guest focused while performing all assigned duties before, during or after an event * Assumes 100% responsibility for the cleanliness of dishware * Washes and polishes dishes, flatware and glassware * Maintains clean and safe work space * Keep the dish machine clean and report any functional or mechanical problems to Management immediately * Bag and haul trash to dumpster * Handle tables, chairs, linens, tableware and décor carefully to prevent breakage and loss * Maintain adequate levels of dish detergents and cleaning supplies * Always follow safe food handling guidelines * Attend all scheduled employee meetings and provides suggestions for improvement * Other duties as assigned   Qualifications: * Positive and upbeat attitude and work well with all team members * Must be 18 years of age * Must be able to work unsupervised * Must be able to work weekends * Ability to work in a fast-paced environment * Punctual * Energetic and motivated personality * Excellent oral communication and listening skills * Ability to follow directions * Be willing to work until the job is complete and perform other duties assigned * Able to reach, bend, safely lift, and maneuver up to 50 pounds and move up to 100 pounds with assistance * Be able to work in a standing position for long periods of time (up to 10 hours) * Be able to work in a hot, wet, humid and loud environment for long periods of time   Uniform Requirements: * Black non-slip shoes with black socks * Clean pants or shorts (shorts cannot be cut-offs and must fall within 6” of knees) * Clean short sleeve shirt (no graphic prints) * Additional details outlined in Uniform Policy   Compensation & Schedule: * $13 hourly * Part-time, hours will vary depending on events scheduled * Eligible for annual review and merit     Please submit resumes or questions to: Operations@madisoneventcenter.com
