Nestled in hundreds of acres of ancient parkland, Whittlebury offers an award-winning four-star hotel, conference, and training centre. Salary: £23,961.60 per annum (based on a 40-hour work week)

Responsibilities

As an Event Enquiry Specialist, you will:

  • Maximise sales opportunities by responding to client event enquiries and converting them into bookings.
  • Provide a high standard of customer care, ensuring all enquiries are handled efficiently, effectively, and in line with office procedures, while building strong relationships.
  • Meet clients to provide site tours and inspections, ensuring a thorough knowledge of our facilities, tariffs, and current activities.
  • Maintain in-depth knowledge of our facilities, including bedroom and meeting room availability.
  • Proactively follow up provisional bookings to convert or release, ensuring booking opportunities are maximised.
  • Demonstrate excellent attention to detail to ensure all information is accurately entered into the system.

As the ideal candidate for this role, you will have a positive attitude, a commitment to exceeding expectations, and a passion for delivering exceptional customer service. You should also have experience in a similar role, the ability to thrive in a pressurised sales environment, and strong problem-solving skills.
