The Meridyan is a visionary wellness and retreat company blending immersive events, plant medicine education, nature connection, and community building. We host everything from 3-hour transformative day events to multi-day retreats, each designed to inspire, heal, and empower. A portion of our profits goes directly to local land stewardship projects.

THE ROLE

We’re seeking an Event Host / Coordinator who is equal parts organizer, problem-solver, and community connector. You’ll be the glue that holds our events together, making sure every guest feels welcomed, every facilitator feels supported, and every detail runs smoothly.
This is not a corporate desk job. It’s dynamic, people-focused work where your energy, adaptability, and leadership directly shape the experience.

WHAT YOU’LL DO

• Plan and host day events, mini-retreats, and full retreats
• Welcome guests, manage check-in, and set the tone for the experience
• Support facilitators, vendors, and crew during events
• Oversee schedules, logistics, and flow of activities
• Ensure guest comfort, safety, and satisfaction
• Coordinate set-up and tear-down with support crew
• Communicate event updates to The Meridyan team
• Problem-solve issues on the fly with a calm, positive approach
• Work with other team members to promote event and program registrations

Independent Contractor Role – Pay per event with additional bonuses

• ½-Day Event: $100: Goal of 4+ per month
• Full-Day Event: $250: Goal of 4+ per month
• 48-Hour Event: $500 + lodging & meals: Goal of 1+ per month
• 3-Day Retreat: $750 + lodging & meals: Goal of 1+ per month
• 5-Day Retreat: $1,000 + lodging & meals: Goal of 1+ per quarter
• 7-Day Retreat: $1,250 + lodging & meals: Goal of 1+ per quarte
