About the role: As Event IT Coordinator you will be an integral part of the success of our fast growing entertainment business. You will be responsible for the day-to-day management, maintenance, deployment, and support of all event IT systems and equipment. This role ensures technology infrastructure is reliable, secure, fit for purpose, and ready for both event and business-as-usual operations. What does a day in the life look like? Maintain an asset register for all IT and event technology equipment, and ensure all equipment is correctly tagged, labelled, and recorded. Manage equipment lifecycle planning and conduct routine inspections, testing, and preventative maintenance to ensure full functionality. Provide remote and onsite event system IT support to internal staff and external clients across systems, hardware, software, and connectivity. Prepare equipment for offices, venues, and agencies ensuring all devices are configured, updated with approved software, and operationally ready. Support at our live events by managing pack-in and pack-out of event IT equipment, installing and testing event systems, and ensuring the event IT infrastructure aligns with operational and client requirements. Liaise with the Australian Event IT team to remain current with technology, system upgrades, and best practice setups. Provide technical assistance to our Box Office team and Customer Support Managers on event days. Support the wider team by developing "how-to" guides and documenting troubleshooting steps for recurring issue resolutions. About you Proven experience in configuring, installing, and troubleshooting IT hardware, software, and connectivity. Familiarity with Box Office and Ticketing platforms, and POS equipment. Have hands on experience in a technician and/or support specialist role. Have a customer focused approach to solving customer issues. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Strong time management and organizational skills and ability to prioritize and meet tight deadlines. Results-oriented, energetic and innovative approach to work. Other key considerations for this position Due to the nature of this role, work is required outside of business hours and on the weekend. You will need to lift/carry more than 5kg from time to time and spend extended periods of time on your feet at events.
