Job Title: Event Lifeguard

REQUIREMENTS:

• Valid National Lifeguard (NL) Certification
• Valid CPR-C and Standard First Aid (OFA Level 2 or higher is an asset)
• Prior lifeguarding or aquatic safety experience (event or recreational setting preferred)
• Strong situational awareness and calm response under pressure
• Excellent communication and professionalism
• Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends
• Must be legally entitled to work in Canada

ABOUT THE ROLE:

Vadium Security Inc. is seeking certified Lifeguards to support festivals, concerts, and large-scale community events where water safety is required. This role is ideal for professionals passionate about safety, first aid, and crowd protection in dynamic event environments.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Ensure the safety of guests, staff, and performers in or around waterfront areas
• Provide immediate response to water-related emergencies and administer first aid/CPR as needed
• Monitor crowd activity near designated water safety zones to prevent any incidents
• Escalate medical or security incidents to EMS or event security as required
• Maintain accurate incident and treatment reports
• Keep rescue and first aid equipment in readiness throughout your shift
• Communicate effectively with event organizers and the on-site security team
