Role Overview
We are seeking a motivated Event Management Intern to support our business development and event operations. This is a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in the UK event industrywhile working mostly remotely, with occasional participation in events on-site in London.

Key Responsibilities

  • Venue sourcing & negotiation
  • Research and approach reception halls, hotels, studios, and unique venues across London
  • Negotiate favourable rental agreements and partnership deals
  • Partnership development
  • Build relationships with event agencies, student associations, influencers, and local organisations
  • Create visibility opportunities and cross-promotional partnerships
  • Event operations
  • Design and manage our stands at fairs, exhibitions, and festivals
  • Coordinate logistics, promotional material (flyers, posters, roll-ups, merchandise)
  • Assist with on-site setup and event coordination (when required in London)
  • Marketing & communication
  • Support social media campaigns and email marketing for event promotion
  • Write short articles or posts to highlight partnerships and upcoming events
  • Database & research
  • Maintain an updated database of venues, suppliers, and partners
  • Conduct market research on event trends, competitors, and opportunities in London

Candidate Profile

  • Current university student (event management, hospitality, marketing, business, or related field)
  • Placement year requirement or academic internship agreement
  • Strong communication and negotiation skills
  • Organised, creative, and proactive with attention to detail
  • Comfortable working independently and remotely, with flexibility for event days in London
  • Fluent in English (additional languages are a plus)
