Description:

The Event Manager oversees all aspects of event planning, coordination, and execution. They are responsible for ensuring that events run smoothly, meet objectives, and exceed client expectations. This role requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, creativity, and excellent communication abilities.

REQUIREMENTS:

  1. Bachelor’s degree in hospitality management, event planning, marketing, or a related field. Relevant work experience may be substituted for formal education.
  2. Proven experience in event planning and management, preferably in a corporate or agency setting.
  3. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  4. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with clients, vendors, and team members.
  5. Creativity and innovation in event concept development and execution.
  6. Proficiency in project management tools and software.
  7. Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines while maintaining professionalism and composure.
  8. Flexibility to work irregular hours, including evenings and weekends, as required by event schedules.
  9. Knowledge of event industry trends, best practices, and regulations.
    Leadership skills and the ability to motivate and inspire team members to achieve common goals

Responsibilities:

  1. Plan and coordinate all aspects of events, including but not limited to conferences, seminars, weddings, corporate events, private rooms events and trade shows.
  2. Develop event concepts, themes, and agendas in collaboration with clients or internal stakeholders.
  3. Coordinate with vendors, suppliers, and contractors to secure necessary services, equipment, and materials.
  4. Manage event budgets, negotiate contracts, and ensure cost-effectiveness.
  5. Coordinate event promotion and marketing efforts to attract attendees and maximize participation.
  6. Provide on-site management and supervision during events, ensuring smooth execution and addressing any issues that arise.
  7. Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to integrate event objectives with broader organizational goals.
  8. Evaluate event success and effectiveness through feedback analysis, attendance metrics, and other relevant measures.
    9.Stay updated on industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies to enhance event experiences.
  9. Ensure target set for events space are acheived.
