JOB OVERVIEW

We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Event Manager to oversee and coordinate various events, ensuring a seamless experience for all participants. The ideal candidate will possess strong organisational skills, a background in hospitality or guest services, and the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively. This role requires excellent communication skills and a passion for creating memorable experiences.

EXPERIENCE

  • Proven experience in event management or a related field within the hospitality or restaurant industry is highly desirable.
  • Strong time management skills with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent organisational abilities to manage multiple events simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail.
  • Demonstrated experience in guest services, ensuring high levels of satisfaction among attendees.
  • Familiarity with fundraising initiatives is a plus, along with the ability to communicate effectively with diverse groups of people.
  • A background in hotel management or similar settings will be beneficial.

  • Collaborate with clients to understand their vision and requirements for each event.
  • Coordinate with vendors, suppliers, and venues to secure necessary services and materials.
  • Manage event budgets, including tracking expenses and negotiating contracts.
  • Oversee on-site event logistics, ensuring everything runs smoothly on the day of the event.
  • Provide exceptional guest services throughout the event, addressing any issues that may arise promptly.
  • Implement fundraising strategies when applicable to support event goals.
  • Utilise upselling techniques to enhance client offerings and maximise revenue opportunities.
