THE JOB: We are currently seeking an individual who wants to be part of the Kona Kai culture and serve with a purpose. The Events Manager serves as a dedicated point of contact for couples and wedding planners, ensuring a seamless and stress-free planning experience from initial coordination through event execution. This role involves collaborating with vendors, managing event logistics, and providing personalized guidance to bring each couple’s vision to life. The Event Manager is responsible for developing timelines, coordinating details across departments, and maintaining clear, consistent communication to ensure every aspect of the wedding is executed flawlessly. With a strong focus on organization, service excellence, and attention to detail, the Event Manager helps create a memorable and exceptional experience for both the couple and their guests. While weddings will represent approximately 80% of the role, the remaining 20% will focus on servicing corporate/association group events. This includes managing event details, coordinating with internal teams, and ensuring successful execution that meets client expectations and upholds the property’s service standards.
