We have a full time position available as an Event Manager, working with some of Perth’s best events, and biggest industrial sites. As we are a event business, delivery is everything!

QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE

  • A minimum of 4 years of full-time experience as an Event organiser required (references will be required and referees will be contacted
  • Experience in end-to-end case management
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Excellent stakeholder engagement skills
  • Highly organised, detail oriented and strong attention to detail
  • Ability to thrive in a high-pressure environment and be highly flexible to changing needs
  • A general understanding of risk assessments in the context of public health is needed
  • Police Clearance & National Criminal History Check
  • Able to pass Drug & Alcohol testing

Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for planning, managing, and organizing sensational events in the most efficient and cost-effective way
  • Communicate with the client to understand their needs & requests for the event
  • Negotiate and contract with vendors such as photographers, florists, caterers, technical and transportation services on a variety of goods and services like security, lighting, sound equipment, displays, stages, parking, food and drink and any other essential item to ensure the success of the event
  • Create a budget that suits the client’s needs and ensure it is adhered to
  • Hire and manage staff, as well as special guest appearance or any other suitable entertainer for the event
  • Supervise staff & volunteers involved in event planning and execution to ensure that it respects client’s expectations
  • Deal with the relevant authorities when necessary
  • Ensure that the event meets all legal & safety requirements

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $90,000.00 – $100,000.00 per year

Schedule:

  • 8 hour shift
  • Monday to Friday
  • Public holidays
