Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree in event planning, hospitality, project management, communications, or marketing preferre

Experience:

  • 3 plus years’ experience in event planning or project management role
  • Experience with Monday.com or similar project management system preferred
  • Experience with event software and CRM tools is preferred, including Cvent and HubSpo

Responsibilities
  • Lead the planning and execution of impactful employee and investor events in alignment with guidance from internal stakeholders
  • Researching venues and vendors for future events, including site visits when appropriate
  • Ensure a premium pre-, during, and post-event experience for all attendees and stakeholders with attention to detail in hospitality, branding, and professionalism
  • Coordinating and communicating event details with vendors and venues — including managing contracts
  • Proactively communicating with internal partners regarding deadlines, expectations, timing, directions, etc. — including executive-level leadership
  • Managing and reconciling budgets, securing approvals for contracts and budget approvals
  • Understanding ROI and manage reporting for senior leaders
  • Meticulously tracking updates and monitoring deadlines via Monday.com project-management system
  • Attending events to ensure all day-of logistics are handled successfully (e.g., transporting items to the venue, setup, teardown, taking photos, troubleshooting, etc.)
  • Ensuring all materials and equipment rentals required for events arrive on time and are returned afterward
  • Recommending and purchasing event supplies (e.g., décor, signage, microphones, etc.)
  • Soliciting feedback, making recommendations, and implementing top feedback for future events
  • Providing backup to peers as needed
