We're hiring a full-time Event Marketing Assistant to represent a nationally recognized nonprofit organization through interactive, in-person events held inside retail locations. This role is perfect for someone who is outgoing, compassionate, and driven by purpose. You’ll help raise awareness and generate support for meaningful causes — all while gaining real-world experience in event marketing, public engagement, and nonprofit promotion. What You’ll Do: Represent a well-known charity partner at high-traffic retail locations Set up, manage, and staff interactive events, donation drives, and awareness booths Engage shoppers in positive, informative conversations about the nonprofit’s mission Encourage donations, volunteer sign-ups, and further involvement in the cause Maintain a professional and compassionate presence at all times Build strong relationships with store staff, customers, and your outreach team Track event data, including engagement and donation metrics, and report outcomes Ensure all promotional materials, signage, and displays are clean and well-organized What Makes You a Great Fit: Previous experience in promotions, nonprofit outreach, or public engagement is a plus (but not required) Excellent verbal communication and people skills Outgoing, approachable, and comfortable starting conversations with strangers Passionate about social impact, charitable work, and community service Dependable, detail-oriented, and self-motivated Able to work flexible hours, including some weekends and holidays Why Join Us?
