Mercato Metropolitano is London’s first sustainable community food market and cultural hub, launched in 2016. We have three vibrant and dynamic spaces housing the very best independent artisanal food traders. Alongside our incredible food offering, we also host a very busy events schedule, from cooking classes to yoga to flea markets.

REQUIREMENTS

• Proven experience in managing events and marketing campaigns, preferably within the hospitality or similar sector
• Strong organisational and time-management skills
• Collaborative approach with the ability to work well across teams and with external stakeholders
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Creative problem-solving abilities to overcome challenges
• Attention to detail and commitment to quality
• A results-driven mindset with the ability to align marketing efforts with broader business goals
• At least 3 years experience in a similar role
• Proven experience with ticketing platforms, such as Design My Night, is a requirement for this role
• Ability to use Creative Suite (photoshop, illustrator) to an advanced level, an advantage

ABOUT THE ROLE

We’re looking for a switched-on Marketing & Events Manager to help us create, deliver and market our events. This is a demanding role, with multiple deadlines landing at once, so resilience is key. We’re looking for someone who is highly organised, collaborative, good with numbers and excellent attention to detail. You will be reporting to the Head of Marketing.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Working with the HOM to develop and execute marketing plans for our events
• Manage the logistics of our events, from booking events, ticketing marketing and everything in between
• Promote our events through social media, email marketing, and other channels
• Track the results of our marketing campaigns and make adjustments as needed
• Work with our team to develop new and innovative events
• Stay up-to-date on the latest trends in marketing and events
