Zonda is seeking a results-driven Manager, Event Marketing, to help accelerate the growth of our national and regional events portfolio. Our events—such as Builder 100, Build-to-Rent, and Future Place—bring together thousands of industry leaders to shape the future of housing.
In this role, you’ll be responsible for driving paid attendee registrations and elevating the visibility of Zonda’s event experiences. You’ll lead end-to-end marketing campaigns, collaborate with internal teams and partners, and use performance data to continuously improve engagement and ROI.
The Manager, Event Marketing will report to the head of Events at Zonda. Travel required to select Zonda and industry events.

QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS:

  • 4-6 years of experience in event marketing.
  • Experience in event marketing for residential real estate is a plus.
  • Experience with WordPress or HTML, CVENT, and GA4.
  • Experience with Salesforce Marketing Cloud, Omeda, or another ESP.
  • Experience managing a direct report or a small team of marketers.
  • Able to manage multiple tasks and thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced environment with deadlines.
  • Excellent organization and communication skills with attention to detail.
  • Ability to think strategically while having strong business judgment and execution.
  • Experience building strong, collaborative cross-functional partnerships.
  • Inclusive leadership style, can-do attitude, enthusiasm and curiosity for learning.
Responsibilities
  • Lead marketing efforts to drive paid registrations for Zonda’s live events.
  • Develop and execute integrated marketing plans using email, paid and organic social media, SEO/SEM, and strategic partnerships.
  • Translate event agenda themes and speaker highlights into compelling marketing messaging to drive engagement, build excitement, and boost attendance.
  • Monitor registration performance and revenue targets, optimizing campaigns in real-time to meet goals.
  • Leverage platforms like CVENT and GA4 to analyze user behavior and improve website conversions.
  • Conduct A/B testing across channels to increase conversion rates and campaign effectiveness.
  • Write persuasive copy for emails, ads, landing pages, and other promotional assets.
  • Manage and maintain marketing budgets, forecasts, and timelines for each event.
  • Oversee website and registration form creation and maintenance for all events.
  • Partner with the Design team to define creative direction and ensure visual consistency across campaigns.
  • Ensure timely delivery of all marketing and sponsorship-related deliverables.
  • Mentor and manage an Event Marketing Specialist to support execution.
