Description

Based in Shrewsbury, we are responsible for the organisation of a large number of national exhibitions and are looking to recruit an Administrator to join our team. The position requires an articulate, enthusiastic, hard-working team player.
We are looking for an Event Operations Administrator to provide a friendly point of contact to our clients and a highly efficient and administrative service to the exhibitors that attend the exhibitions we work on.
Day to day responsibilities will involve supporting our existing event staff with managing events by:
· Filing all event administration daily as it arrives by email
· Chase all event administration and documentation by phone and email
· Update and maintain event databases and spreadsheets
· Send out all event materials to exhibitors
· Handle incoming event enquiries by phone and email
· Prepare all event/exhibition materials including floorplans and on-site boxes before shows
· Assist colleagues with simple floorplan changes and updates
· Cross check databases with the floorplan regularly
The position would suit someone who is well organised with good administration and IT skills with an excellent phone manner.
Whilst the role is primarily office based, you may also be occasionally required to work ‘on-site’ at events
