Description Events Role & Responsibilities: Warmly and cordially meet the event contact immediately to introduce yourself as the Event Lead to answer any questions, requests, or concerns they may have. Conduct pre-event line up to review timeline, menu, staff assignments and execution expectations. Oversee and assist in the setup of events space, i.e.: tables, chairs, linens, flatware, glassware, food stations, buffet stations. Oversee the breakdown of the event space including clean-up and proper storage of event equipment. Coordinate with the kitchen and food service team to ensure proper food execution and service. Maintain communication with the kitchen regarding any changes to timeline and service. Maintain presence on floor to ensure that events flow smoothly and without incident Attend weekly BEO meetings Scheduling for all Gathering Events for all Locations. The Rock, Barrel Room, Rod & Hammer Distillery and The Carissa Standard Operating Procedures ( SOP) Creating Training Accountability Resource to HR/Payroll Facilitate and Participate in Job Interviews Communicate with Payroll/HR about New Hires Training & Education Internal Events Work with the team to plan, finalize and execute internal events such as block parties,festivals and specialty chef’s dinner. Communicate details in advance for consumer marketing and internal planning. Build BEO’s and take point on distributing information to vendors, guests and staff.
