Venues NSW is a commerically focused agency of the NSW Government, encompassing the Sydney Cricket Ground and Allianz Stadium as well as major sporting and cultural stadiums and precincts in Sydney, Olympic Park, Parramatta, Newcastle and Wollongong. The network of stadiums and entertainment centres host in excess of 5 million people a year at more than 500 events and is a key contributor to the economy. ABOUT THE ROLE The Casual Event Setup Crew is responsible for safely and efficiently performing a variety of manual handling tasks to support event setup and pack down, including installing equipment such as basketball courts, staging, seating, rigging, signage, and more, in line with safety procedures. This role may also operate machinery (with appropriate certification), lead operations crews, ensure proper equipment storage, support venue maintenance, and uphold high presentation standards. This role is based at WIN Stadium and WIN Entertainment Centre, Wollongong. ABOUT YOU The ideal candidate has experience with manual labour tasks and may possess trade qualifications, along with previous experience in events or stadium settings.
