This role focuses on cleaning, restocking, and assisting with sanitation stations, dishware, glassware, and cutlery, ensuring all hygiene standards are met while helping the event run smoothly. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS OF THE POSITION INCLUDE, BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO: * Assist the Lead Event Porter in maintaining cleanliness and sanitation of all event areas, including restrooms, bars, service stations, and public spaces. * Help set up, maintain, and break down sanitation stations. * Restock supplies such as gloves, sanitizers, paper towels, and cleaning products. * Clean inside and outside the venue, including floors, furniture, windows, and high-touch surfaces. * Properly dispose of garbage, recyclables, and soiled linens. * Maintain walkways, staging areas, and entry points free of debris, spills, or hazards. * Clean and sanitize dishware, glassware, cutlery, and other service items. * Follow proper usage instructions for cleaning chemicals, soaps, and equipment. * Report any equipment, furniture, or supply damage to the Sanitation Captain or management. * Support team members and other event staff to maintain smooth operations. * Attend pre-event briefings, training sessions, and departmental meetings as required. * Assist with additional tasks as assigned to support sanitation and overall event operations. * Assist and/ or complete additional tasks as assigned EDUCATION/WORKING KNOWLEDGE: * Previous experience in sanitation, custodial, or hospitality roles preferred. * Knowledge of cleaning chemicals, equipment, and proper sanitation procedures. * Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment. * Strong attention to detail and reliability. * Team player with a positive and professional attitude. * Exposure to hot kitchen elements or cleaning materials.
