Ongoing, Clerk Grade 7/8 ($113,574 - $125,720 per annum) opportunity based in Martin Place, Sydney with flexible working supported. About the Role The Event Program Officer, Sector Leadership Development supports the coordination and delivery of high‑quality leadership development programs for senior executives and non‑executive staff across the NSW public sector. The role plays a key part in coordinating projects and learning activities end‑to‑end, working closely with internal stakeholders, external providers and participants to ensure programs are delivered on time, within budget and to agreed quality standards. Strong communication is central to the role, you will maintain effective stakeholder relationships, prepare clear communications and manage administration and event coordination to support smooth program delivery. Join our Sector Leadership Development team within the Workforce Planning branch, where you’ll work across diverse priorities, delivering project and operational support while driving continuous improvement and best‑practice leadership development across the sector. We're Looking For Project Management: Demonstrated experience supporting or coordinating multiple projects with competing timeframes, ensuring delivery on time, on budget and to quality standards in a fast‑paced environment. Stakeholder Engagement & Communication: Proven ability to communicate clearly and professionally with diverse internal and external stakeholders, including senior leaders and service providers, to maintain effective working relationships and support successful program delivery. Customer Service & Event Coordination: Strong customer‑focused approach with experience coordinating learning programs or events, including managing logistics, bookings, venues and participant communications to deliver high‑quality experiences. Research & Problem Solving: Ability to research best‑practice approaches, analyse information and contribute practical recommendations to improve learning pathways, processes and program outcomes.
