Description

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • A minimum of 2+ years of experience with event account management or related field.
  • 2+ years of Sales experience and a track record of meeting/ exceeding quotas
  • Exemplary communication skills – written and verbal
  • Attention to detail
  • Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
  • Problem assessment and problem solving
  • Familiarity with computers and standard office equipment
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite including Microsoft Word and Excel
    Job Type: Full-time
    Pay: $50,000.00 - $60,000.00 per year

Responsibilities
  • Make contact with potential clients and create sales leads whenever possible.
  • Manage all aspects of sales process – site visits, client calls and emails, proposals, contracts, floorplan creation, invoices, etc.
  • Create and manage information on the event calendar(s).
  • Assist with research of convention calendar, corporate clients and marketing to third party planners.
  • Assist with input on advertising and marketing plan and social media.
  • Assist with reporting on sales projections, strategies and event status on a regular basis.
  • Help to maintain strong relationships with industry planners, associations and vendors.
  • Communicate effectively with all other departments and create strong and supportive relationships with entire staff.
  • Support the directives of the Director of Sales at all times and create an atmosphere in the Sales Department which is encouraging and motivating.
