Description
M+ is a museum dedicated to collecting, exhibiting, and interpreting visual art, design and architecture, moving image, and Hong Kong visual culture of the twentieth and twenty-first centuries. Located in Hong Kong’s WestK, we are one of the leading museums of modern and contemporary visual culture in the world. This is a fixed-term contract position of 2-year with possibility for renewal subject to organisational needs and individual performance. You will be responsible for: handling daily administrative works for event team, including but not limited to answering phone calls and email correspondences, upkeeping departmental filing and updating information; preparing sales and necessary analytical reports in timely manner with accuracy; assisting Event Sales to prepare necessary documents for clients and cross-department; collecting and analysing market trends and information for hiring price planning and sales packages; assisting to maintain CRM record to keep clients’ record up-to-day and maintaining the booking record of Venue & Event Management System; maintaining good awareness of all museum programmes and communicating effectively with different stakeholders including internal departments; and performing any other duties from time to time as reasonably assigned by M+. You should: possess a recognized university degree in any discipline, preferably with minimum 1-year relevant experience in event sales/management. Fresh graduation with administration works/event planning experience will also be considered; be a self-motivator who aims to drive things forward and demonstrate high level of ownership and accountability to assigned tasks; have a strong sense of responsibility, good interpersonal and organization skills and attentive to details; be proficiency in written and spoken English and Chinese including Putonghua; and work in flexible schedule including weekends, evenings, and holidays if necessary.
