OVERVIEW

We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Event Salesperson to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for contacting various corporations, organizations, hotels, and other businesses to present the opportunity to hold their private events at our establishment. The ideal candidate will possess strong negotiation skills, exceptional customer service abilities, and a passion for creating memorable experiences.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with an emphasis on negotiation and relationship building.
  • Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines.
  • Proven experience in event sales or with a strong portfolio of successful events.
  • Knowledge of budgeting practices and financial management related to events.
  • Experience in hospitality or restaurant settings is preferred; banquet experience is a plus.
  • Familiarity with fundraising initiatives is advantageous for specific event types.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment while also being self-motivated.
