Description

THE WHAT…

We’re looking for an Event Sales Executive to join our dynamic team and play a key role in growing our client base, driving revenue, and delivering outstanding service experiences.
As an Event Sales Executive, you’ll be the face of our brand—building relationships with local communities, corporate clients, and customers to showcase everything our venue has to offer. Whether it’s securing new business or strengthening existing partnerships, you’ll thrive in a fast-paced environment where no two days are the same.

Here’s some of what you will be doing:

  • Driving sales for your centre by creating and implementing robust sales and outreach activity that engage with different groups
  • Build and maintain long term relationships with key stakeholders and partners
  • Proactively source and convert new business opportunities
  • Work closely with the centre operations team to ensure seamless service delivery
  • Achieve and exceed monthly and annual sales targets
  • Represent the brand at local events e.g. university open days to build brand presence
  • Provide regular reports and insight to management
  • Data collection and promotional work e.g. leafleting
  • Monitor competitor activity and industry trends and adapt strategies accordingly

To be successful, you’ll have:

  • Previous sales experience (ideally in the hospitality/leisure industry)
  • Strong communication, negotiation and interpersonal skills
  • Professional and confident in approach
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Proven ability to meet and exceed sales targets
  • Highly motivated, goal-oriented, and able to work independently
  • Full of fresh ideas to drive sales
  • Team player with a collaborative mindset
  • Flexible and adaptable to changing priorities or schedules
  • Enthusiastic and passionate about customer service excellence
  • Willingness to travel locally or regionally as required
  • Flexibility to work outside regular business hours when needed

THE WHO…

Hollywood Bowl Group has a passion for bringing families and friends together for affordable fun and healthy competition.
Following our listing on the main stock market in 2016 we became Hollywood Bowl Group, seeking out the perfect locations for our bowling and golf centres nationwide. We formed our customer proposition, built on real feedback, and went from strength to strength with our in-centre game technology and online scoring systems.
Now with 75 centres across the UK and 15 centres in Canada, operating under the Hollywood Bowl, Putt & Play and Splitsville brands, we’re proud to be ambitious market leaders in experiential family entertainment.
We continue to expand our estate and look for profitable opportunities to grow, with an average of three new sites opening each year.
At Hollywood Bowl Group, we value diversity and inclusion, and we’re committed to creating a working environment that promotes equal opportunities. Individual differences and the contributions of all employees are recognised and valued and we believe that a diverse and inclusive workplace makes us a more relevant, more competitive, and more resilient company
