As an Event Sales Manager at KERB, you’ll have the exciting opportunity to craft and deliver exceptional client experiences, whilst driving impact through revenue generation. This role is at the heart of our business, combining sales expertise with an operational understanding, ensuring every client gets a seamless and standout experience.
From securing high-profile bookings to managing a plethora of relationships with KERB’s incredible trader network, you’ll oversee the entire sales cycle - responding to enquiries, crafting tailored proposals, negotiating costs, and upselling at every opportunity. Working across KERB’s most prestigious venue listings, you’ll be responsible for pre-event sales and package building, client management, and post-event follow-up, ensuring repeat business and long-term relationships.
Collaboration is key, working alongside our operations team, street food traders, and venues, you’ll be the driving force behind flawless event execution. Taking ownership of your sales targets and event budgets, you’ll play a pivotal role in shaping KERB’s continued growth.

Responsibilities
  • Driving event catering revenue through sales strategy and sales performance
  • Responding to event enquiries in an effective and timely fashion
  • Producing quotes and negotiating job scope and costs with clients, including upselling to clients when possible
  • Working across KERB’s exciting, diverse and complex enquiries and events.
  • All pre-event planning to include site visits, contracting, trader briefings, menu development, and the management of all client requirements and amendments
  • Development of a productive and candid relationship with the operations team, remaining active as the main point of contact for your client and their account.
  • Working collaboratively with the operations team, traders and clients, ensuring all details are covered, and stakeholders expectations and requirements are managed effectively.
  • The willingness to get stuck in on-site when necessary, we are all in this together, and sometimes you have to be willing to get your hands dirty.
  • Aftercare with clients and traders, especially ascertaining aspects of the service that could be improved and with the goal of securing repeat business.
  • Taking ownership of personal sales targets, and management of event budgets from quote to completion.
  • Regular reporting to the Head of Events on sales performance
