Days Off: Saturday/Sunday

• Issue proposals and contracts, negotiate with clients, determines client’s needs; explains services available through the Facility.
• Responsible for all aspects of internal event planning (in-house meetings & Community Relations events), entertainment planning, external events as assigned and special projects.
• Establish professional relationships in order to create repeat business and superior customer service, and maintain on-going relationships and communication with clients.
• Call past customers to generate repeat bookings and additional revenue.
• Handle incoming sales calls from prospective clients.
• Issue proposals and contracts, negotiate with clients based on information reviewed with Director of Sales.
• Develop and maintain clientele base, update mailing lists, booking calendars, and maintain complete and accurate records for customers.
  Requirements: High school diploma or equivalent. Minimum of 2 years of increasingly responsible and successful sales experience. Experience in a casino, convention center, hotel, or related industry is preferred, but not required. Strong computer skills, and proficiency in the Microsoft Office suite required. Knowledge of event planning software related to catering and sales operation s and hotel property management system helpful. Understanding of general sales techniques. Excellent phone etiquette, customer service and people skills relating to both internal and external guests. Must have strong organizational and multi-tasking skills. Must have the ability to communicate detailed information, both verbally and in writing with people of diverse backgrounds. Self-starter with desire to grow knowledge as well as meet /exceed goals. Primarily indoor environment. Ability to work nights and weekends. Must be able to reach, bend, stoop and occasionally lift up to 35 pounds
