POSITION OVERVIEW

We are seeking a passionate and results-driven Event Sales Manager to lead client acquisition and foster meaningful relationships while driving revenue growth. As a key ambassador of Solace Catering Group, you will play an essential role in representing our brand, securing new business, and ensuring clients experience our values of dedication, innovation, and precision at every step.

REQUIRED SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS

  • Proven track record in event sales, hospitality, or catering industries.
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Strategic thinker with the ability to identify and act on business opportunities.
  • Proficiency in CRM and event software (e.g., Total Party Planner, Allseated, Delphi).
  • Highly organized, detail-oriented, and capable of managing multiple projects simultaneously.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor’s degree in hospitality, business, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
  • Knowledge of food and beverage trends and event management best practices.
  • Food Handler’s Certificate and Responsible Beverage Service Certificate (preferred).

Responsibilities
  • Client Acquisition & Relationship Management:
  • Identify and engage prospective clients across corporate, social, and wedding markets.
  • Build and maintain strong client relationships to promote long-term partnerships.
  • Act as a trusted advisor to clients, offering creative event solutions aligned with their needs and budget.
  • Sales Strategy & Revenue Generation:
  • Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve and exceed revenue targets.
  • Leverage market insights and industry trends to position Solace Catering Group as a leader in catering and event services.
  • Maximize revenue opportunities through upselling and cross-selling Solace’s diverse offerings.
  • Event Coordination & Collaboration:
  • Collaborate with the culinary, operations, and event service teams to ensure seamless execution of events.
  • Work with clients and internal teams on contracts, proposals, and menu customization.
  • Participate in site inspections, client meetings, and presentations to finalize event details.
  • Marketing & Networking:
  • Represent Solace at industry events, showcases, and networking opportunities.
  • Partner with the marketing team to create compelling campaigns that drive lead generation and brand visibility.
