OVERVIEW

We are seeking a dedicated and vigilant Security Officer to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in maintaining a safe and secure environment for our clients, staff, and visitors. This position requires keen observational skills, the ability to respond effectively to incidents, and a commitment to loss prevention through proactive surveillance measures.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Proven experience in a security role or related field is preferred.
• Strong knowledge of surveillance techniques and loss prevention strategies.
• Proficiency in operating CCTV systems and other security equipment.
• Certification in first aid is highly desirable.
• Excellent observational skills with the ability to remain calm under pressure.
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.

  Pay: £13.50-£16.00 per hour

• Monitor and patrol designated areas to ensure safety and security.
• Respond promptly to alarms and incidents, providing first aid when necessary.
• Implement loss prevention strategies to minimise theft and damage.
• Prepare detailed reports on security incidents, observations, and actions taken.
• Collaborate with local law enforcement as needed during emergencies.
• Assist in the enforcement of company policies and procedures related to safety and security.
