We have plenty in store, from new experiences and enhancements to time-honored traditions that continue to make this lakeside retreat so special! We are now accepting applications for Event/Banquet Servers, here at Basin Harbor. Our Event/Banquets Servers are responsible for setting ans serving our banquets, weddings, and events, anticipating guests needs and special request by being tactful, approachable, perceptive and customer service oriented. Event/Banquets Servers may also event set-up and break-down duties as needed. We are seeking both full- and part-time seasonal, as well as on-call available staff to join our team for our upcoming summer season from mid-May though October, 2026. Requirements Some essential competencies are: Understanding the need for proper etiquette and service standards, prior serving experience of 2+ years preferred, able to take direction and work in a team environment, attention to detail, efficient, and able to perform multiple tasks systematically in a fast paced environment, ability to remember and follow dining room procedures, a clean, well kept, professional appearance. As well, shift work may require up to 10-hour shifts - walking and standing. Must be able to lift 20 lbs repeatedly. Basin Harbor conducts pre-employment criminal background and reference checks on all employees.
Responsibilities
Responsible for setting up and serving banquets, weddings, and special events while anticipating guest needs. Duties also include the physical set-up and break-down of event spaces.
