Each interaction with workshop participants, faculty and fellow staff members, creates the Omega experience.  Job Description Event Services & Faculty Support Assistant: non-exempt, full-time; on average 35 hours per week. Reports to Event Services Manager and Faculty Support Manager. Summary To provide excellent service to Omega’s faculty ensuring that their workshops run smoothly and seamlessly.  Our ability to offer the highest services to the faculty, enables them to offer their very best to our participants. Essential Functions Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions. Event Services: * Preparation of classroom supplies, binning same for delivery by crew to each classroom. * Organization and maintenance of the supply closet. * Providing general, administrative assistance to the Event Services Manager and field assistance to the Production Crew as needed * Operation of a golf cart and two-way radio. * Other duties as required by the supervisor. Faculty Support: * Preparation of faculty welcome packets including: Campus Schedules, personalized schedules, workshop rosters, guest room keys, badges, etc * Greeting/welcoming faculty as they arrive on campus, personally escorting them to their guest room and including a short orientation tour (via golf cart) for faculty who are new to Omega. * Provide occasional water service to faculty during their program. * Copy jobs. * Track incoming packages and coordinate their deliver to the appropriate classroom. * Input post-event notes. * Preparation of faculty schedules and assisting Production Manager with campus schedules. * Operation of a golf cart and two-way radio. * Other duties as required by the supervisor. Work Details * This position functions in Omega's administrative offices, and in the field on the Omega campus. * This is a full-time position, 35 hours a week. Weekend availability is required.  Physical Requirements * Ability to frequently move items that weigh 50 pounds for various needs. * Ability to remain in a stationary position 50% of the time. * Ability to traverse a hilly campus in diverse weather conditions. * Ability to position self to perform diverse job tasks as necessary. * Ability to communicate information and ideas so others will understand.  Must be able to exchange accurate information in these situations. * Ability to work in a constant sate of alertness and safe manner.  * Ability to observe details at close range. Required Experience/Qualities  * Excellent computer skills, and Microsoft Excel proficiency, and ability to learn and master Omega's internal database. * Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills. * Detail oriented. * Timely, reliable and service-oriented individual. * Team player and ability to work under pressure.  * Valid Driver’s License.  * Alignment with Omega’s Mission, Goals and Core Values.
