Description

Adecco is currently seeking Event Staff for a leading client in the event retail industry for a short-term, hands-on contract in Vancouver, BC. In this role, you’ll help manage inventory, assist with event setup and takedown, and support day-to-day operations during the event. If you’re detail-oriented, physically capable, and a team player, this is a great opportunity to gain experience in a fast-paced and energetic setting.

  • Pay rate: $23/hour.
  • Location: Vancouver, BC

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Must be legally eligible to work and reside in Canada.
  • Previous experience with inventory control in a retail or warehouse environment is preferred.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced setting.
  • Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word and Outlook).
  • Must be available to work on weekends and flexible shifts.
  • Physically able to lift, carry, push, or pull up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Set up the event space, including organizing stock and arranging products on the sales floor.
  • Perform inventory control tasks such as receiving, picking, put-aways, cycle counts, returns, and clean-up.
  • Ensure the workspace is clean, safe, and organized throughout the event.
  • Coordinate with team members to meet daily business goals and tasks.
  • Select and prepare storage areas and arrange stock for efficient use of space.
  • Move items through the event space from receipt to dispatch and to customers.
  • Support in packing and cleaning up once the event concludes.
  • Work collaboratively with supervisors and managers to maintain a positive team environment.
  • Fill in as needed for various roles to ensure smooth operation.
