Position Overview Advantage Capital is seeking an Event Specialist to support the planning and execution of high-quality events that strengthen relationships with investors, partners, and other stakeholders. This is an ideal role for someone early in their career who is highly organized, socially confident, detail-oriented, and excited to create polished, memorable experiences. The right candidate has strong taste, enjoys hospitality, follows trends in restaurants and travel, and is comfortable in professional, client-facing settings. This role is based in the office full-time and requires someone who is eager to be hands-on, responsive, and fully engaged in supporting multiple teams and target audiences. Responsibilities · Plan and execute frequent premium, high impact events including investor events, conferences, meetings, dinners, and other firm-hosted experiences · Research venues, hotels, restaurants, and vendors with a strong eye for quality, service, and overall experience · Manage event logistics including timelines, guest coordination, travel arrangements, materials, budgets, and vendor communication · Serve as the primary point of contact for internal stakeholders and external partners throughout the event lifecycle · Lead onsite event execution and problem solve issues in real time · Maintain a high level of quality and consistency, ensuring all events reflect a polished, premium experience Skills and Requirements · Bachelor’s degree required · Internship, campus leadership, hospitality, event, travel, marketing, or customer-facing experience required · Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities · Excellent verbal and written communication skills · Professional presence and strong interpersonal skills · Strong judgment, follow-through, and attention to detail · Interest in hospitality, restaurants, travel, and creating premium experiences · Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite and event management tools · Able to travel and provide onsite support Characteristics We Value · Social, engaging, and relationship-oriented · Strong sense of taste, service, and experience design · Passionate about delivering exceptional experiences that reflect the firm’s brand and mission · Highly organized and able to manage multiple priorities · Collaborative team player who embraces an all-hands-on-deck culture · Strong attention to detail with a commitment to delivering high-quality experiences · Proactive problem-solver with the ability to adapt in real time
