Overview McGuireWoods is seeking an Events Specialist to support the firm’s marquee conferences in advancing brand development, lead generation, and client experience. Reporting to the Strategic Event Manager, the Events Specialist will collaborate with the Director and Manager of Business Development for Private Equity, and related teams, to ensure crisp execution, support practice and industry goals, and manage reporting to communicate progress effectively. This position is available in our New York, Chicago, Washington DC, Richmond, and Charlotte offices. Responsibilities Plan and execute high-impact events, managing everything from logistics and budgets to curated attendee lists. Work cross-functionally with Sales, BD, and Communications to meet project timelines and goals. Coordinate internal and external communication schedules and build relationships with sponsors and clients. Track event performance and ROI, analyzing data to identify trends and ensure cost efficiency. Manage third-party vendors and leverage DealCloud (CRM) to track invitations and post-event analytics. Qualifications 4+ years in event management, marketing, or brand partnerships. BA/BS in Marketing, Business, Communications, or a related field. Proficiency in budget management, event software, and CRM tools. Exceptional attention to detail, strong project management, and the ability to handle multiple deadlines simultaneously.
