Overview This is an entry-level position in the field of event planning and building operations suited for recent graduates and individuals looking to pursue a career in the sports and entertainment industry. The right candidate will report to the Assistant Operations Manager and will be expected to learn on the job and grow with the company. This role pays an hourly rate of $18.00 to $20.00 CAD Benefits for Part-Time roles: Pension matching This position will remain open until April 10, 2026. Responsibilities Work alongside the operations department during event set ups and tear downs. Work with the events department and external clients in the preparation and execution of events. Assist with custodial duties to maintain building cleanliness. Ensure all work is completed in a safe and efficient manner in compliance with all written policies, applicable government codes, and regulations. Qualifications Previous experience in an arena or recreation facility is considered an asset. A self-starter with good communication skills, a positive attitude, and a willingness to work in a team environment. Excellent time management skills and an ongoing awareness of client satisfaction. Willingness to work regular evening, weekend, and holiday shifts, plus an understanding of the physical nature of the work. Strengthened by our Differences.
