ABOUT THE ROLE: The Security Officer will work at the speedway in various positions and locations. Job Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following. RESPONSIBILITIES: Greets all guests with a smile and a helpful demeanor * Provides information and directions to guests as requested * Reacts appropriately to all comments/complaints/issues in a prompt and friendly manner * Ensures a safe and fun environment for all guests, staff, sponsors and partners * Works safely, following all established safety rules and regulations * Communicate effectively with co-workers, supervisors and guests * Ensures the safety of guests and employees * Controls access to assigned areas * Allows or disallows admission to assigned areas based on credentials * Patrols assigned areas as directed * Responds to emergencies as trained MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS: Must be able to work 12-hour shifts * Must be able to work weekends, holidays and nights as needed * Must present an overall clean, neat appearance, and report to work in appropriate attire * Must possess a valid state issued driver’s license to operate a company-issues golf cart * Must be able to speak, read and write English * Must be able to pass a background verification

Responsibilities

The Security Officer will be responsible for greeting guests warmly, providing directions, and promptly addressing any complaints or issues to ensure a safe and enjoyable environment for everyone present. Duties also include controlling access to assigned areas, patrolling as directed, and responding to emergencies according to training.
