POSITION SUMMARY

We are seeking an Entry-Level Sommelier to join our team. This role is ideal for someone passionate about wine who wants to expand their knowledge while helping guests explore our curated selection. The Sommelier will guide tastings, provide approachable recommendations, and support wine-focused events.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Passion for wine with a desire to learn and share knowledge.
• Hospitality or customer service experience preferred.
• Strong communication and presentation skills.
• Certification (WSET Level 1, Introductory Sommelier, or equivalent) is a plus but not required.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.

• Welcome and engage guests, assisting with wine selection based on preferences and pairings.
• Conduct or support guided tastings and wine flights.
• Maintain accurate wine notes, pairing guides, and staff education materials.
• Assist with wine service during events, private parties, and wine club gatherings.
• Monitor inventory, assist with ordering, and ensure proper storage.
• Stay current on wine regions, styles, and trends; pursue continued education toward certification (Court of Master Sommeliers, WSET, etc.).
