ABOUT US:

Edge Catering is a leading catering company known for crafting exceptional culinary experiences for weddings, corporate events, private parties, and more. We take pride in delivering premium service and unforgettable events, and we’re looking for a highly motivated and detail-oriented Event Supervisors with a passion for elevated cuisine.
As an Event Supervisor you will be responsible for ensuring flawless front-of-house execution at our events. You’ll lead and coordinate service teams, manage event logistics, and maintain the high standards our clients expect. While this role is primarily event-based and casual, there are opportunities to work at our headquarters and assist with event preparation, including driving one of our vans to the event location.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Experience: Proven background in hospitality, service, or event management, with experience in large-scale or high-end events preferred.
  • Leadership: Demonstrated ability to lead a team in a fast-paced event environment while maintaining high service standards.
  • Event Expertise: Familiarity with diverse event formats, including multicourse plated dinners, buffets, and receptions featuring canapés.
  • Flexibility: Ability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required by event schedules.
  • Driving: Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
  • Communication & Organization: Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
Responsibilities
  • Front-of-House Leadership: Oversee and manage front-of-house operations during events, ensuring excellent guest service and adherence to event protocols.
  • Team Coordination: Direct and support service staff, including servers and bartenders, through pre-event briefings and on-site supervision to ensure seamless execution.
  • Event Execution: Manage the delivery of various event styles—including multicourse plated dinners, buffet setups, and receptions with canapés—by coordinating with culinary and operations teams.
  • Logistical Oversight: Ensure all on-site preparations are in place, troubleshoot any issues during events, and make quick decisions to maintain service quality.
  • HQ Coordination: Assist with pre-event planning and post-event follow-up at our headquarters, including administrative duties as needed.
  • Transportation Duties: Occasionally drive one of our vans to event sites for setup, equipment transport, or as needed to support our team.
