DESCRIZIONE DEL RUOLO

L’Event Supervisor coordina e supervisiona l’esecuzione degli eventi in hotel, assicurando la corretta implementazione dei piani operativi e il rispetto degli standard qualitativi del brand. Collabora a stretto contatto con il team eventi, F&B e altri reparti operativi per garantire la perfetta riuscita degli eventi, fungendo da punto di riferimento operativo sul campo e supportando l’Event Manager nella gestione del carico di lavoro e nel training dello staff.

Responsabilità principali

  • Supervisionare le attività operative prima, durante e dopo gli eventi.
  • Gestire i briefing pre-evento con il personale operativo coinvolto.
  • Assicurarsi che le disposizioni logistiche e gli allestimenti siano conformi al BEO.
  • Essere il punto di contatto per eventuali criticità operative e intervenire tempestivamente per risolverle.
  • Coordinare e supportare il team degli Event Coordinator durante lo svolgimento degli eventi.
  • Fornire feedback post-evento all’Event Manager per migliorare i processi e il servizio.
  • Collaborare con F&B, cucina, housekeeping e manutenzione per garantire un flusso operativo efficiente.
  • Mantenere aggiornati i sistemi operativi (es. Opera) con le informazioni rilevanti.
  • Monitorare il rispetto delle norme di sicurezza e degli standard Marriott durante l’evento.
  • Partecipare a ispezioni e controlli di qualità durante eventi di particolare rilevanza.

Competenze e requisiti

  • Diploma o laurea in Hospitality/Event Management o settore affine.
  • Esperienza pregressa di almeno 2–3 anni in ruoli operativi nell’organizzazione eventi o hotellerie.
  • Ottime doti organizzative e relazionali.
  • Capacità di leadership e gestione di piccoli team.
  • Proattività nella risoluzione di problemi e gestione delle priorità.
  • Conoscenza dei principali software gestionali (Opera, Micros).
  • Ottimo uso del pacchetto Office.
  • Ottima conoscenza della lingua inglese e italiana (scritta e parlata).

Job Summary
The Event Supervisor oversees the execution of events within the hotel, ensuring all operational plans are implemented according to Marriott brand standards. This role acts as a field leader during event setup and execution, coordinating with operational teams and supporting the Event Manager with day-to-day operations and staff training.
The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, solution-focused, and has excellent team coordination and leadership skills.

Main Responsibilities

  • Provide feedback to the Event Manager post-event for continuous improvement.
  • Collaborate with F&B, kitchen, housekeeping, and maintenance to ensure smooth service flow.
  • Keep systems (e.g. Opera) updated with relevant event information.
  • Monitor compliance with safety standards and Marriott procedures during events.
  • Participate in inspections and quality checks for high-profile events.

Skills & Qualifications

  • Degree or diploma in Hospitality, Event Management, or a related field.
  • At least 2–3 years of experience in operational roles within events or hospitality.
  • Strong organizational and interpersonal skills.
  • Leadership abilities and experience supervising small teams.
  • Problem-solving mindset and ability to manage priorities under pressure.
  • Familiarity with Opera and Micros systems is a plus.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
  • Fluent in both English and Italian (spoken and written).
