Stone Gables Estate is always seeking caring and talented individuals to join our team and make a difference. This is a part-time, seasonal role supporting Stone Gables Estate events while also assisting with property maintenance. The position helps ensure that our grounds, facilities, and event spaces are safe, functional, and maintained to the highest standards. You will play a key role in delivering an exceptional experience for weddings, events, and guests. Requirements Must be available to work Fridays and Saturdays Must be able to work a minimum of three weekends per month Strong interpersonal skills; ability to interact professionally with guests, vendors, and team members Ability to multitask, problem solve, and work in a fast-paced environment Basic knowledge of maintenance, repairs, or general labor preferred Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality standards Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and as part of a team Primary Job Duties Set up and tear down event spaces, including moving tables, chairs, linens, and removing trash Weddings are booked year-round with seasonality Park cars and direct traffic Greet guests and provide general assistance during events Assist with event operations to ensure a smooth, safe, and enjoyable experience Support property maintenance needs, including basic repairs, upkeep, and preventative maintenance Conduct general inspections of event spaces and grounds to identify and address issues Assist in maintaining cleanliness and overall appearance of buildings, venues, and outdoor areas Collaborate with the Events Team to ensure all spaces are event-ready Occasionally handle animals such as horses, alpacas, pigs, sheep, etc. Support emergency or last-minute event and maintenance needs as required Other duties may be assigned Physical Demands/Environment Regularly required to sit or walk; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms; talk, hear; lift and/or move up to 50 pounds; use peripheral vision; depth perception; ability to adjust focus; work in wet or humid conditions and outdoor weather conditions Frequently required to stand, climb, or balance; stoop, kneel, or crouch; talk, smell; lift and/or move up to 50 pounds; use distance vision; subject to cleaning chemicals and possible exposure to fumes and airborne particles Occasionally required to lift and/or move over 100 pounds with team assistance or equipment; work in high places The noise level is usually moderate to loud
