Job Description We’re looking for an Events Administration and Operations Coordinator to support the smooth, day to day running of a busy events operation within the London offices of a leading financial services firm. If you love keeping things running seamlessly behind the scenes and take pride in delivering a polished, professional experience, this role is for you. As the Events Coordinator, you’ll be the engine behind the operation — keeping processes tight, communication flowing, and every event experience aligned with the firm’s high standards of service and operational excellence. You’ll also play a key role in improving systems and workflows as the team continues to evolve. What you’ll be doing Maintaining accurate records, databases, and filing systems Coordinating schedules, bookings, and operational calendars Preparing essential operational documents such as reports, schedules, checklists, and logs Liaising with internal teams, suppliers, contractors, Hospitality, IT, and AV to support flawless delivery Ensuring operational procedures and systems are followed consistently Supporting compliance with health & safety, data protection, and organisational policies Tracking operational issues and escalating concerns to management when needed Hours: 40 hours per week with shifts from Mon-Fri. Please note that flexibility to work in the evenings to cover events outside of the core operating hours between 7.30am and 6pm is regularly required. Salary: £34,000 Qualifications We’re looking for someone who brings both skill and energy to the role — a natural organiser with a sharp eye for detail and a calm, confident approach to busy days. Essential Experience Previous experience in an administrative, office support, or coordinator role Proven ability to manage diaries, schedules, and bookings Experience handling correspondence, phone calls, and email enquiries Strong background in maintaining accurate records, databases, and filing systems Confidence preparing documents, reports, and basic financial paperwork Experience liaising with internal teams, clients, suppliers, or external stakeholders A track record of working effectively in fast paced or deadline driven environments Familiarity with standard office systems, processes, and procedures Skills & Attributes Excellent organisational and time management skills Strong administrative capability with high attention to detail Ability to juggle multiple tasks and prioritise effectively Comfortable working under pressure while maintaining professionalism Clear, confident communication skills Additional Information What's in it for you?
