ABOUT THE ROLE:

We’re looking for a highly organised and proactive and Events Administrative Assistant to join our dynamic Worldwide Events Team at JCB. This is a fantastic opportunity to play a key role in supporting the delivery of JCB’s global event calendar. The ideal candidate will thrive in a fast-paced environment, is detail-orientated, and have a genuine interest in events and team collaboration.
You’ll be part of a collaborative team that brings the JCB brand to life through seamless event execution, ensuring every detail is handled with precision and professionalism.

WHAT DOES THIS ROLE INVOLVE DAY TO DAY?

  • Provide day-to-day administrative support to the Events team and wider department.
  • Assist with scheduling meetings, preparing agendas, taking minutes and following up on actions.
  • Manage calendars and coordinate appointments for team members and external stakeholders.
  • Support event logistics, bookings, arranging travel and accommodation and liaising with vendors.
  • Maintain and update databases and records.
  • Help prepare and distribute event materials (e.g. name badges, itineraries, signage).
  • Process invoices using Ariba.
  • Assist in on-site event support when needed.
  • Ensure event supplies and inventory are tracked and replenished as necessary.
  • Handle general office administration tasks to ensure smooth day-to-day operations.
  • Answering phone calls and greeting guests at JCB’s VIP Visitor Centre – acting as the face of JCB.
