Salary Range: £23,000 - £28,000 (DOE)
Driving License: Valid UK driver’s license required

KEY SKILLS & REQUIREMENTS

• Proven experience in event planning, media coordination, and/or public relations.
• Proficiency in photography and videography – with demonstrable editing skills using tools like Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, Lightroom, Canva, or similar.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong organisational and time management abilities.
• Confident and engaging public presence with interpersonal skills suited for community-facing roles.
• Flexibility to work evenings and weekends depending on event schedules.
• Full and valid UK driving license (essential).
• A proactive, hands-on approach and a passion for community engagement and storytelling.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

• Degree or diploma in Public Relations, Media, Communications, Events Management, or a related field.
• Experience working in multicultural environments or with diaspora communities is a distinct advantage.
• Familiarity with social media trends and content publishing tools.

ROLE SUMMARY

The successful candidate will support the planning, execution, and promotion of events and media coverage aligned with the brand’s visibility and community engagement objectives. You will play a key role in enhancing the public image of Diaspora Insurance through professional event representation, high-quality media production, and storytelling that resonates with our niche market.
