Job Details Position Type: Seasonal Education Level: High School Salary Range: $25.00 - $28.00 Hourly Job Shift: Any Description The Catering Bartender is responsible for setting up the bar to create and serve a wide variety of drinks to guests, as well as ensuring the bar area is clean and well-stocked. The Catering Bartender will work with other team members and supervisors to ensure that events run smoothly and efficiently. RESPONSIBILITIES Other responsibilities include, but not limited to: Set up bars including all tables, linens, glassware, ice, alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages, and garnishes Greet guests and take drink orders in a friendly and professional manner Create and serve a variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages including beer, wine, spirits, and specialty cocktails Follow all recipes and procedures for making drinks accurately and efficiently Monitor and control inventory of bar supplies and notify supervisors when additional supplies are needed Maintain a clean and organized bar area throughout the event Follow all company policies and procedures, including those related to safety, cleanliness, and guest service Performs other duties associated with the position that are reasonably assigned to support the overall needs of the business Qualifications Previous experience as a catering bartender, or related field preferred Excellent customer service skills, and a friendly outgoing personality Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously Good communication skills and the ability to work well as part of a team Extensive knowledge of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages, and the ability to create a wide variety of drinks TIPs, TAM, or other Alcohol Awareness Certification or the ability to obtain certification within a reasonable timeframe Ability to stand and walk for extended periods of time Ability to lift and carry heavy items, such as tables, rack of glassware, and cases of alcohol Availability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
