This role reports to the Director of Events & Conferences and is ideal for a detail-oriented professional with a passion for event planning.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Proven experience in event management, preferably in a corporate or agency setting.
  • Strong project management skills, with the ability to handle multiple events simultaneously.
  • Excellent organizational and problem-solving abilities, ensuring smooth event execution.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, capable of working with high-profile clients and stakeholders.
  • Experience managing event budgets, contracts, and vendor negotiations.
  • Familiarity with event marketing strategies and audience engagement tactics.
  • Proficiency in event management software and tools.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Event Management, Marketing, Hospitality, or a related field.
  • Agency experience is considered a strong asset.

Responsibilities
  • Plan, coordinate, and execute high-profile corporate events and conferences, ensuring exceptional service and seamless logistics.
  • Work closely with the Director of Events & Conferences to develop event strategies that align with client objectives.
  • Manage event budgets, ensuring cost efficiency while maintaining quality and experience standards.
  • Oversee event timelines, vendor coordination, and on-site execution to ensure smooth operations.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for clients, providing outstanding service and managing expectations throughout the planning process.
  • Develop and implement event marketing initiatives to maximize attendance and engagement.
  • Coordinate with internal teams, including sales, creative, and operations, to deliver successful events.
  • Conduct post-event evaluations to assess performance, identify areas for improvement, and provide strategic recommendations.
  • Stay up to date with industry trends and best practices to enhance event programming and delivery.
  • Support new business development by assisting in proposal creation and client presentations.
