Description

Are you someone who loves being outdoors and who enjoys sharing that love? Are you a meticulous planner who enjoys working all of the small, finer details and tasks needed to bring an event to life? Great Parks is seeking a detail-oriented self-starter to serve as the Events Coordinator for its events and experiences. The Events Coordinator owns the logistical execution of Great Parks’ portfolio of special events, milestone celebrations, and external sponsorship opportunities.
As a key member of the Special Events team, you will help captivate local and regional audiences by helping to craft unique, large-scale outdoor experiences through sourcing/contracting vendors, day-of-event coordination, purchasing and maintaining event supplies/decorations, and engaging a wide-array of audiences at select external community celebrations.
At Great Parks, our team members work together to preserve and protect natural resources and to provide outdoor recreation and education in order to enhance the quality of life for present and future generations. Be a part of an inclusive organization that enriches the region by inspiring nature-based experiences, celebrating cultural heritage and building strong and healthy communities through our dedicated staff, volunteers, and friends.
