POSITION OVERVIEW

We are looking for an engaging event coordinator to set up and manage trade shows and other industry specific corporate events. In this role, you will help plan logistics for trade events, liaise with vendors and guests, and oversee the trade show operations. You will also work collaboratively on marketing campaigns and strategies for exhibitions.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Minimum of 2 years of managing small to large scale trade shows for small to medium sized organizations
  • Bachelor’s degree in Event Management, Hospitality Management or Public Relations, preferred
  • Certified Meeting Professional (CMP) preferred
  • Demonstrate outstanding time management and organizational skills with a consistent track record of success in planning, managing, and executing multiple events simultaneously
  • Highly organized, analytical, excels at managing and influencing broad stakeholder groups, and adept at synthesizing a variety of inputs into a successful event
  • Experienced in managing budgets
  • Experienced in vendor management
  • Experience in managing virtual, in person and/or hybrid events
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, and interpersonal skills
  • Strategic and proactive thinker
Responsibilities
  • Job will generally be performed in an office environment but may require travel to visit company offices and/or property locations.
  • While performing duties of this job, would occasionally require to stand, walk, sit, reach with hands and arms, climb or balance, stoop or kneel, talk and hear, and use fingers and hands to feel objects and tools.
  • Must occasionally lift and/or move up to 30pounds.
