Overview:
We are seeking a motivated and personable Audience Recruitment Specialist to join our events team. This role is crucial to the success of our events, as you will be responsible for recruiting high-quality attendees and ensuring our target audience is effectively engaged and represented. The ideal candidate will have a passion for events, strong communication skills, and experience in audience engagement or recruitment.

Responsibilities:

  • Audience Outreach & Engagement:
  • Identify, qualify, and engage potential attendees for events, ensuring alignment with the target audience profile.
  • Develop and execute outreach strategies to attract attendees through multiple channels, including email, social media, phone calls, and industry networks.
  • Build and maintain relationships with key audience segments, including VIPs, influencers, and industry leaders.
  • Database & Lead Management:
  • Manage and update the attendee database, ensuring all information is current, accurate, and segmented for targeted outreach.
  • Track and analyze lead generation efforts, attendance metrics, and audience engagement, providing insights to improve future recruitment strategies.
  • Collaboration & Coordination:
  • Work closely with marketing, sales, and event planning teams to align recruitment strategies with event goals.
  • Collaborate with partners and sponsors to optimize audience recruitment through their networks and channels.
  • Support the event registration process and assist with post-event follow-up to maintain relationships for future events.
  • Market Research & Targeting:
  • Conduct research to identify industry trends, key demographics, and potential audience segments.
  • Analyze competitor events and audience recruitment methods to improve our approach and stay competitive in the market.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Event Management, or a related field preferred.
  • 2+ years of experience in audience recruitment, sales, marketing, or event management, ideally within B2B or industry-specific events.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficiency in CRM tools (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot) and marketing automation platforms.
  • Ability to analyze data and metrics to refine audience recruitment strategies.
  • Excellent organizational skills with strong attention to detail.
  • High level of motivation and drive to achieve recruitment goals.
  • Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team.
  • Passion for networking and connecting with people.
