About the Role

The Events Executive reports to the Senior Events Executive and works closely with the Marketing Manager, and also supporting the wider marketing team, and business, in the coordination and execution of events, webcasts and client engagement points across the Dublin office. Primary responsibilities include:

  • Delivering a high-calibre brand and targeted client experiences to position the Dublin office as a premier service provider
  • Planning and coordination of all aspects of campaigns and events including, but not limited to, webinars, conferences, virtual roundtables, corporate hospitality and executive dinners
  • Organising and maintaining an activity calendar for the Dublin office and broader collaboration with other offices across Europe
  • Setting success metrics for activities, assessing stakeholder feedback (internal and external) and providing related reporting
  • Monitoring competitor activity and sharing market intelligence with key stakeholders
  • Developing and delivering creative ideas and concepts
  • Working to existing, and improving upon best practice protocols (i.e.: timings, targeting, evaluation) and ensuring these are followed for all projects
  • Proactively working with members of the Marketing team in London, Dublin and globally
  • Managing competing tasks for a wide range of events and effectively utilising available resources to ensure deadlines are achieved
  • Managing and being accountable for specific budgets and providing regular updates on costs throughout the planning and execution
  • Coordinating and delivering marketing collateral including, but not limited to, presentations, invitations and client giveaways/corporate gifts
  • Assisting with additional tasks that may be required as a part of the on-going Marketing needs

EXPERIENCE

What You Bring

In addition to indisputably high ethical standards and autonomy, the ideal candidate possesses the following:

  • Marketing / Communications degree or other relevant marketing qualification
  • Minimum 5 years of relevant experience (professional services experience preferred but not essential)
  • Excellent project, organisational and time management skills
  • Strong event management skills and acumen
  • Demonstrate a strong commercial sense
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
  • Possess the skills to be both a self-starter and a team player in equal measure
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Must be proficient in MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint
  • Experience with InterAction or a similar CRM database, and email marketing software packages Tikit, Vuture, or similar would be an asset
