Responsibilities

As Events & Groups Coordinator you will have a passion for delivering an outstanding guest experience and enjoy all aspects of planning and executing luxury events. You will be an excellent and confident communicator and have the ability to interact with guests and clients to ensure a fantastic experience at The Berkeley.

Main responsibilities of the Events & Groups Coordinator include, but are not limited to:

  • Answer incoming calls to the Events & Groups department dealing with general enquires.
  • Liaise with all appropriate departments concerning group bookings taking place in food and beverage areas and ensure the smooth and efficient co-ordination of all bookings.
  • Prepare event stationary such as menus, table plans and buffet labels as required.
  • Assist the event sales team with preparing invoices as required.
  • Produce daily, weekly and monthly Events lists and to distribute these. To issue change logs on a daily basis, and the weekly events pack on a weekly basis.
  • Contribute in maintaining an excellent level of service in conjunction with the minimum requirement of the LQA standards at all times.
