Young and research-intensive, Nanyang Technological University, Singapore (NTU Singapore) is ranked among the world’s top universities. NTU’s College of Computing and Data Science (CCDS) is a leading college that is known for its excellent curriculum, outstanding and impactful research, and world-renowned faculty. Today, we are ranked #2 for AI for Computer Science by US News Best Global Universities; and #8 for Data Science and AI by QS World University Ranking.
A hot bed of cutting-edge technology and groundbreaking research, the College aims to groom the next generation of leaders, thinkers, and innovators to thrive in the digital age. Located in the heart of Asia, NTU’s College of Computing and Data Science is an ‘exciting place to learn and grow’. We welcome you to join our community of faculty, students and alumni who are shaping the future of AI, Data Science and Computing.
We are seeking an experienced and dynamic events manager to strengthen the College’s positioning and public image by delivering events that are strategic, professional, and aligned with CCDS’s brand. It is both operational and relational, and ideal for someone who thrives in fast-paced, detail-sensitive environments.

What You Will Do:

  • Plan and deliver College-level events (e.g. conferences, symposia, dialogues, info sessions, and retreats) that reflect CCDS’s strategic priorities.
  • Liaise with the Dean’s PA and College leadership to coordinate calendar availability and prepare admin briefs for high-level events.
  • Manage logistics and event workflows end-to-end, including venue, AV, vendor liaison, and stakeholder engagement.
  • Develop professional-grade event briefs, run sheets, cue cards, and thank-you materials for speakers and VIP guests.
  • Support UG/PG outreach by coordinating participation in JC/Poly visits, roadshows, and student-led initiatives.
  • Coordinate debriefs, compile post-event documentation, and maintain records for publicity, learning, and institutional memory.

Who You Are:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Events Management, Communications, Marketing, Hospitality, or a related field.
  • 5–8 years of experience managing high-visibility events, preferably in higher education, government, or corporate settings.
  • Well-versed in hybrid event technology and project management tools (e.g. Google Workspace, Trello, Notion).
  • Strong grasp of stakeholder engagement protocols, including working with senior management and external partners.
  • Meticulous, reliable, and calm under pressure—with a proven ability to juggle multiple moving parts and stakeholders.
  • Excellent communication skills and sound judgement in navigating institutional protocols and senior-level interactions.

We regret that only shortlisted candidates will be notified.
