COMPANY DESCRIPTION

Statkraft is Europe’s largest renewable energy generator. We’ve been making clean energy possible for over a century and are proud to take a central role in the UK’s zero carbon ambitions. We have 7000 employees in 20 countries. We have been making clean energy possible for over 130 years, with unrivalled expertise in supplying the world with what it needs most. We envision a world that runs entirely on renewable energy.
Because in the fight against climate change, we do not see renewable energy as part of the solution – we believe it must be the solution.
We’re looking for a standout Events Manager to join our UK Communications team.

JOB DESCRIPTION

This role is ideally based in the London area, joining a team who focusses on raising the profile of Statkraft via external channels, media and marketing, whilst sharing our successes and building our culture via our internal channels. We’re a small team who works closely to get the job done, bringing a flexible approach and mucking in during busy periods. The team is strong through diversity, with every team member bringing a different skillset to the table.
Statkraft has ambitious growth plans, especially in the UK. We need the company to be brilliantly represented at the key events, showcasing our activities and expert people through speaking opportunities and at our stands, whilst fully leveraging the associated event platforms with case studies, marketing materials, adverts, via digital platforms, social media and video content.
Whilst the organisation is growing exponentially, we also need to maintain one culture via our internal channels. We’re looking for an Events Manager who is very switched on, independent and solutions-orientated - with the confidence to ask and find answers. Take your career to the next level at Statkraft and make a positive impact on our planet, as we utilise the potential of renewable energy.
